EveryChild international charity (UK) helps vulnerable children across fifteen countries of the world. Its history in Russia started in 1994.
In compliance with the UNCRC we develop innovative social services for children and families to prevent family breakdowns. Our activities contribute into the development of regional and national social policies. We work with children and for children. We believe that awareness of child's development needs is of great importance for each type of professional support. We advocate for child's participation in services' planning and development.
EveryChild's activities are project-oriented. Russian projects share one major goal set in EveryChild's four-year strategic plan for 2007/11 i.e.: decreasing numbers of children entering institutions and increasing numbers of children returned from there into family environment.
EveryChild provides professional and financial support to services that protect child's rights and render social services to children and families. EveryChild establishes and develops innovative services either independently, or in partnership with NCOs and/or authorities. It also offers new methods and approaches to the social work based on forefront Russian and international experience.
